Elizabeth Redcay received her Ph.D. in Psychology and Cognitive Science from the University of California San Diego in 2008 and completed her postdoctoral work in the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 2011 she joined the faculty at UMD as an Assistant Professor in Psychology and member of the Neuroscience and Cognitive Science (NACS) program. Her research examines the development and neural correlates of social interaction and social cognition in both typical and atypical development, specifically individuals with autism spectrum disorder. Dr. Redcay's research has been funded by the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, the Department of Defense, and the NSF ADVANCE program.
