My current work focuses on the perception and cognition of language and of music. I am interested in these domains individually and also in how these complex systems draw on similar cognitive and neural processes. My lab primarily conducts behavioral studies in neurotypical populations and in neuropsychological patients who have deficits impacting language and/or music (e.g., aphasia and auditory agnosia).

General Research Interests:
  • Psycholinguistics
  • Music Perception/Cognition
  • Language Production
  • Aphasia
  • Second Language Acquisition
