My current work focuses on the perception and cognition of language and of music. I am interested in these domains individually and also in how these complex systems draw on similar cognitive and neural processes. My lab conducts behavioral and neuroimaging studies in neurotypical populations and in neuropsychological patients who have deficits impacting language and/or music (e.g., aphasia and auditory agnosia).
